Operators first.
AIX Automation Lab is the AI agent and automation arm of Eaton & Associates. We started AIX because we needed to ship AI for our own MSP first, and the consultants we'd been talking to had never run one.
The wedge
Most AI consulting practices are built by consultants. We built ours by running a small business. Eaton & Associates manages enterprise IT for Bay Area municipalities, school districts, nonprofits, and SMBs. We feel the pain of a 50-person org from the inside before we talk about agents.
It changes the work. We don't pitch a methodology. We look at your actual ticket queue, your actual finance close, your actual onboarding flow, and tell you which one has the highest payback if we automate it, and which ones AI would make worse.
The lineage
Eaton & Associates has run Bay Area enterprise IT since 2009. K-12, municipalities, nonprofits, SMBs. AIX is what happens when that operator team starts shipping AI for the same kinds of clients, backed by the same people, same engineering rigor, same response-time SLAs.
Sister brand AIXTEK handles enterprise IT services. AIX Automation Lab handles the AI agent and automation work. Same parent, distinct delivery teams.
The team
We're a small team on purpose. The person you talk to on the discovery call is the same person in the pilot, and the same person in the production engagement. We do not sell a sales-engineer-then-handoff model, and we won't grow to a size where we have to.
